fabulous room canal view friendly staff very nice location
The rooms were fabulous with all the trimmings. I saw amazing views of the canals from my room. The staff were friendly and useful, I appreciated their help. The location is very nice, convenient for exploring the city.
The nightly rates felt high, though I do appreciate the quality received .

The hotel enjoys a very central location near Rembrandtplein. The middlestreet shops and Kalverstraat are within easy reach. The station is accessible by foot, I did it myself.

friendly doorman professional staff
the friendly doorman helped me with my bags. the check-in area was cozy and the staff were both professional. the lighting was lovely throughout the hotel and it created a warm ambiance. the attention to detail was evident with amenities like lip balm available.
the room rates were high. the room felt dysfunctionally sized. the external noise kept me awake during the night. the breakfast variety was lacking.

casual housekeeping inefficient dinner
the staff was kind and helpful! there was room service knocking, asking if i needed anything like water, snacks, or coffee.
i found the housekeeping to be casual. they turned up after 3.30pm! they forgot to top up basics like sugar, tea, and milk. dinner at the hotel restaurant was very inefficient. it felt unacceptable in a hotel charging so much.

perfect location helpful staff pristine room
The location was perfect for exploring. The staff were really good. They greeted us with sparkling water and a hot towel. The room was immaculate and kept pristine. Shops, restaurants, bars, and cafes are within walking distance.
The hotel is older, but it has been updated. There was no iron in the room.
